RaceTrac had a problem. It had a vibrant, contemporary corporate work environment that included an inclusive culture where any employee could contribute to big ideas. But young job seekers didn't know about it. The companies that Racetrac competed with for talent were often large consultancies that tended to be more trational in culture. So we decided to create some humorous web videos, campus posters and web banners that played to the fear many of job seekers have in working in a organization where they feel more like a cog in the machine than a human being. Tactics then led to RaceTrac's jobs website that illustrated the differences in how their culture worked.
